Aw, Kara, I saw my name and was like "huh?" lol spedcial moment.
Hm, my family is one of those that don't really get along well. Like whenever we have get togethers and one person leaves the room everyone else will talk about them until they come back. I guess the thing that I loved about my dads side was my grandfather. He was the only grandparent I ever had and he taught me a lot of the values that I have. He came over to America after WWI and he had to deal with a lot of the hatred that people had for Germans. He also taught me German :) He's someone near and dear to me, even after death. I don't really see people on my mom's side of the family. She was adopted, so that's why. Her mom has 5 kids from 5 different dads, none of which belong to the man she's married to (and was married to when she had her kids). My mom adoptive parents are Polish, so they were nice but kinda rough people, lol. Plus they'd (well the older ones) yell at you in Polish and you'd have no idea what they were saying. |
