LOL been a hella long while since I've MADE a topic. tongue.gif

Anyways, lets get to business. As the title describes I need your help with my psych paper.

The topic is on adolescence & sex. The main questions that would really help me getting this paper rolling is:

1.Did you parents ever talk to you about sex?
2.Can you talk about sex with your parents?
3.How do you go about talking about sex to kids 10-14 yrs old?

PLS expalin each answer to the questions cuz just saying "yes" or "no" won't be of any benefit. Thanks for reading

^x2 blink.gif Eww

1.Did you parents ever talk to you about sex?
Nah, they never did the "I know you're getting older, and..." stuff. My mom was one of those people who got married at a young age and never really had anyone tell her about sex, so there's actually been a few times she's asked me about stuff. Not because she thinks I'm out doing stuff or have friends with STDs or anything, just because I've actually had sex ed.

2.Can you talk about sex with your parents?
My mom and I have a really good relationship, but I don't think I'd ever talk to her about my sex life. My sex life is mine. But, there has been sometimes when we talk about it in general.

3.How do you go about talking about sex to kids 10-14 yrs old? I've never talked to a kid about sex, but I'd think the first step would be to create the opportunity for them to be able to ask you anything. I wouldn't want to create the total awkwardness of having a little rehearsed sounding speech with them.
