LOL been a hella long while since I've MADE a topic. tongue.gif

Anyways, lets get to business. As the title describes I need your help with my psych paper.

The topic is on adolescence & sex. The main questions that would really help me getting this paper rolling is:

1.Did you parents ever talk to you about sex?
2.Can you talk about sex with your parents?
3.How do you go about talking about sex to kids 10-14 yrs old?

PLS expalin each answer to the questions cuz just saying "yes" or "no" won't be of any benefit. Thanks for reading

1.Did you parents ever talk to you about sex?
My parents never talked to me about sex. I learned about sex at school through health class or through my peers. I'll add television to the list also. Not from my parents. I do believe that they should have talked to me about it, though.

2.Can you talk about sex with your parents?
My parents know I have sex, but it's not something I can talk to them about. Uncomfortable much? I can probably talk to my mom about birth control, but not necessarily sex.

3.How do you go about talking about sex to kids 10-14 yrs old?
Just tell them straight up! You're getting older, and it's time we talk about sex. Sex is blah blah blah. You should always use protection. Types of bc are blah blah blah.
