This thing is sweet. If you're looking for something portable that has great functionality, check out ASUS's new EeePC. Yeah, it may not be able to play games or burn CD's, but this puppy is perfect for surfing the web, instant messenger, school work, or music. This computer is perfect for kids, college students, or grandma and grandpa. It has built in wi-fi and a fantastic battery life (3.5 hours). it's nearly unbreakable with it's solid state disk, and it's wicked cheap too (Only $400.00). It even comes with a built in webcam. Check it out!

waste Dude, definitely not. It's for a target market. These things are selling like hot cakes. They have a version of Linux on them that has been specifically designed to be easy to use. I hear it's incredible. I think it's perfect for kids to learn and use in school or college. It may be crap for you, but I would love to buy one for my sisters. Open Office is great. lmaooooo 4gb hard disk. :D Oohh but it's so pretty.. Perfect for a grandparent! BTW my boyfriend has an ASUS laptop. It's the ASUS w3j he got back in high school. The only reason they have a 4GB disk drive is because Solid State Drives are the fastest and most dependable drives on the market. A 4GB Solid State Drive would cost roughly $100 . Also, you can always increase the amount space by using an SD card or or using a flash drive. To get an idea behind the pricing of an internal Solid State Drives click this link: http://www.newegg.com/Store/SubCategory.as...lid-State-Disks ASUS has been coming out with great products recently. Especially their gaming laptops. |
