This thing is sweet. If you're looking for something portable that has great functionality, check out ASUS's new EeePC. Yeah, it may not be able to play games or burn CD's, but this puppy is perfect for surfing the web, instant messenger, school work, or music. Dude, definitely not. It's for a target market. These things are selling like hot cakes. They have a version of Linux on them that has been specifically designed to be easy to use. I hear it's incredible. I think it's perfect for kids to learn and use in school or college. It may be crap for you, but I would love to buy one for my sisters. Open Office is great.

BTW my boyfriend has an ASUS laptop. It's the ASUS w3j he got back in high school.


The only reason they have a 4GB disk drive is because Solid State Drives are the fastest and most dependable drives on the market. A 4GB Solid State Drive would cost roughly $100 . Also, you can always increase the amount space by using an SD card or or using a flash drive.

ASUS has been coming out with great products recently. Especially their gaming laptops.
