i know this has been answered in the past but i cannt get rid of the dividers between the navbar links...i have a black bg so i would like to change them to black....i did a search and used about 10 codes but none of them work?

Try erasing all of the a.navbar parts in your code (including a.navbar:visited, etc.) and then add in one of the codes that I mentioned.
