Lunchtime with friends. We're chatting away. We're very much excited that Christmas is on its way. (Our mall is already in the Christmas spirit.)

All of a sudden, my friend tells me, "You never got ME a Christmas present last year."
So, I said, "I didn't get anyone anything."
(Except one person... but that's it!)
And she was like, "Oh yeah?"
And I was like, "So... it was ONE person."
And she was like, "So?"

And... urgh. It pisses me off that she had the nerve to say that. Why does she think she deserves that present anyway?

(And for the record, she didn't get me anything either... but you don't see me complaining.)

Sorry, I just wanted to vent. Anyone have any suggestions or should I just let that go?

I had a friend who marked down her birthday in another girl's calendar book agenda thing and said something along the lines of 'I expect balloons/gift on that day' and I'm shocked because that's such a selfish thing to say. And the girl didn't get her balloons! Haha! Seriously, why should she?

I was really annoyed too.
