Lunchtime with friends. We're chatting away. We're very much excited that Christmas is on its way. (Our mall is already in the Christmas spirit.)

All of a sudden, my friend tells me, "You never got ME a Christmas present last year."
So, I said, "I didn't get anyone anything."
(Except one person... but that's it!)
And she was like, "Oh yeah?"
And I was like, "So... it was ONE person."
And she was like, "So?"

And... urgh. It pisses me off that she had the nerve to say that. Why does she think she deserves that present anyway?

(And for the record, she didn't get me anything either... but you don't see me complaining.)

Sorry, I just wanted to vent. Anyone have any suggestions or should I just let that go?

Just let it go. You don't want it to blow up into something big. I think she's just jealous of the friend that received a gift from you.

[ATTENTION: below is just nonsense]
IMO, She probably believes that she at least has equal er.."friend status" than your other friend and by seeing that other friend getting a gift, took an emotional toll on her. She just wants to be loved by you. (:

Haha, I don't know. I get these ideas from my crazy ass friends.
