i think that if you're going to make a help topic in the support forums, you should at least have the common sense and decency to name the topic so that the "helpers" know what you need help with before going in there.

i cant count the number of times i've seen a topic like "help please" or "question" and then i go in there seeing if i can help just to find out that i cant.

Yeah, just something short like "Please re-read the guidelines for posting a topic in this forum and post again with the requested information." I don't see anything wrong with doing it that way - a little harsh but it works to get the point across. We can't help them if they don't help us.
