In Cincinnati it is illegal to have a Pit Bull if it was registered with the county before 2000 (I am pretty sure that's the year, but I could be wrong). If you have one and the city finds it, they will take it from you, euthanize(sp?) it, and fine you. Even if the dog has NEVER attacked ANYONE they will KILL it because of the crimes of other pit bulls.
I live in Hamilton, a smaller town just outside Cincinnati. They are trying to do it here now and I think it is just terrible. Does anyone think it is right that this happens? |

Anyway, I think its a really stupid law if they're enforcing it.  Just because of what pitbulls did, future pitbulls are no longer allowed to live in harmony with people? That's just really sad. You can easily get hurt by any other force.
