I'm a sucker for straightening.
I just recently cut five inches off my hair, so its about chin length. I've got really curly ringlet-y hair, so it takes forever to straighten when it's longer, but not if I keep it short, which looks better anyway. If you're going out to buy a flat iron, I say the one inch Chi. It's about $150.00 and works wonders. I love it.
