Ah, I'll just vent then.
I'm very tired of what I read on the internet concerning racism towards Blacks. Racism against Asians exist too, racism against Whites exist ... An Asian acquaintance used to get bugged all the time. People tried touching her eyes, they laughed at her accent, etc. Even last friday in Dutch class, there was an Asian joke. I don't see how calling someone chintock is funny. I was on an African site a while back and got banned because of my views. I am part White and I don't find it amusing when people call my family crackers or honkeys or slave owners or whatever. Also, why do mixed race people ALWAYS have to choose between races? What's up with that?  Tell you the truth, from my observation, Blacks are much more racist than other race groups I've encountered. Oh, by the way, while watching Dr Phil, a Black woman said; I'm looking for a potential Black male. And a White lady said; I'm looking for a potential man. (OK, I might not be accurate) but notice the difference? Haha. |
