Personally, I think that people who claim to be a victim of stereotyping need to get over themselves. Stereotyping is the ass end of racism. It's a joke. If you think about it, look at what stereotyping does. Absolutely nothing. Comics use it all the time in their routine. It's just people that make a bigger deal of something that doesn't need to be taken so seriously.
Before you say anything bad about racism...lets look at the roots first. Racism is product of many other things. Sometimes it has to do with religion, sometimes it has to do with where a person is born and raised. I think the little eight year olds on South Park had it right. If you can't allow some one to speak their mind about some one else's race, then that in turn is racism. If a black guy can call me cracker or whitey, why can't I call him burnt toast or n****r? If anything minorities are abusing the priviledge of racism. If you stop making such a big deal about it, it'll go away. It's like a dog...it want you to play with it, but if you ignore it, it will find something else to do. |
