What's the most expensive article of clothing, footwear, accessory, etc. that you own?


Hm. I'd say my LaCoste argyle wool sweater. Its red, black, and cream and I loooove it. Didn't even buy it for myself. It was my Christmas present from my boyfriend last year, haha. I got so mad he spent that much though. =p It was around $300 (Can).

I have a job, I just don't make that much damn money...I have a normal job, like a normal high-schooler, I get $6.25 an hour. I have to pay for all of my gas and going out and eating and whatnot...I don't get a bunch of money from my parents. Not everyone can afford $300 shirts. I could buy like 20 things for $300. I would neverrrrr spend that much money on one freaking shirt.

I'm going to assume that minimum wage is much lower where you are. Over here, it's 7.50$/hour, but I believe it's going to raise to $8/hour next year (or two, I forget). But I don't think cost of living in California's that high.. Dunno.

As for my job, I make $8.75/hour doing the same crap Tung does -- lmao we work at the school library.. different colleges, though. But I heard he sells drugs illegally as a side job, so I guess that's where the $1000/week comes from. Tung is going pre-med -- hopefully by the time he gets out of college, he'll be a legal drug dealer aka pharmacist.

Luckily I don't have to pay for gas -- I don't drive, lol. The boyfriend drives me. Actually, he doesn't even work and his parents give him money... *bitterness* I barely had any money when I was in high school--- only when I worked, and even then, I was hardly paid. Only after I graduated, did I finally find a "real" job, where I got paid $8.50/hour -- Express, f'sho. I hardly got any money from my parents. Only once in a while did my parents take me shopping, and even then I felt guilty for asking them, so I was always picky and I'd only get a single item or nothing at all. My jeans were usually $30/$40 max, and my shirts were like, $18 or less.

Eh.. It's nice to splurge once in a while. Maybe it's also because a bunch of us go to college and have jobs that pay really well. College lets you pick classes at any time, so if you're working during the day part-time, you can have your classes in the afternoon. Or the other way around.


ANYWAYS, augh there's this Gucci purse I want.. but I don't have the $700 on me to buy it. I could *gasp* CHARGE IT, but that would be bad. Augh, it's so hard trying to save up for a car

Oh yea and I spent $350+tax on my prom dress. Damn, I can't wear that dress to any other place. It looks too much like a prom dress! lol

jesus mary and joseph, christina you managed to tell your life story, i actually felt bad for you in the middle of your story, lol haha.

but um i usually spend my money on electronics more than clothes. but i guess my most expensive shoes were lacoste sneakers which were 105. and I love my jackets so i spent 350 on this guess leather jacket, but that was a long time ago, this year so far i bought like 5 jackets, the one i wear most is from H&M and it was only 60 bucks. okay i need to stop.
