So...I need a girl's or a boy's advice. So I like this girl but then whenever I talk to her either it be phone, aim, real life there would always be awkward silences through the conversation.I try to end it by saying how was your day or what are you doing. But those 2 are basically all I have to end silences.Anyone have any ideas how to end these silences?Like any topics I could bring up to talk about etc. I'd appreciate the help

This is always something that happens; and it will get easier to talk to someone after a few weeks of general chitchat.
Remember to ask your girl more open ended questions, so instead of 'what time did you finish today?' ask her 'How did you find today?'. Pay attention to anything that the both of you like and steer the conversation toward a mutual interest. Odds are, you'll both have plenty to say. The same goes for when you inquire about her personal hobbies or interests; get her to talk to you about them and she'll open up more. Good luck! |
