So I read this quote today that said...
"You don't just stop loving someone. It's either you love them less or you've never loved them at all." Do you think that it's true? Is it possible to just stop loving someone completely? The whole concept of "stop loving someone you've loved" seems pretty interesting to me. Don't know why. Sorry if you think this topic belongs somewhere else. |

I think that something is always left when you truly loved someone. It may not be as strong as it was, and you don't even have to like them.
My uncle once told me he never forgot his first love. They were together from high school till he was 22. He's married and everything now, but he can't see her as just another normal person. He doesn't love or like her anymore, but yeah. So I guess in a way, it doesn't end. Although the feeling of being "in love" does go away. |
