Apparently, a 5.6 Earthquake hit in Alum Rock/San Jose area in California, @ 8:02PM. It lasted for 15-20 seconds and there might be an aftershock in 72 hours that can be 6.3/6.4
My mom hella freaked, she yelled and made us go outside. And she went back inside to get papers/money (ROFLMAO, TYPICAL ASIAN MOM WHO FREAKS OUT TOO EASILY) and by the time she came outside, it was done. LOL. |

LOL. The earthquake is the big buzz, it's all over my friend's AIM msg's/myspace bulletins/facebook/etc.
You know, the earthquake's magnitude was quite huge in this area cuz I don't think I've ever encountered this high magnitude in SJ. I felt minor ones but today was really strong compared to others. The aftershock would be really scary. My friend who was at marching band at Independence HS, and they felt the earthquake. I wonder how it was like, if they fell on the ground while their playing or something. lol. |
