Apparently, a 5.6 Earthquake hit in Alum Rock/San Jose area in California, @ 8:02PM. It lasted for 15-20 seconds and there might be an aftershock in 72 hours that can be 6.3/6.4
My mom hella freaked, she yelled and made us go outside. And she went back inside to get papers/money (ROFLMAO, TYPICAL ASIAN MOM WHO FREAKS OUT TOO EASILY) and by the time she came outside, it was done. LOL. |

Mercury News has good info. And a picture! Apparently, it happened in the Sierra mountains.
![]() QUOTE Two weeks ago, earthquake experts gathered in a Hayward museum and pointed out that the Hayward Fault has a major earthquake every 140 years. This October marks year 139. http://www.mercurynews.com/ci_7325191?source=rss Does that mean that was the major earthquake...or we have to wait until next year? I don't think there will be an aftershock though, I haven't read anything on it. |
