My sister lives in Chula Vista, they're about to get evacuated. :( This whole thing is so wretched. Yeah. Honestly I thought it'd never get as far as Chula Vista and just stay in the Jamul area. Here's what I know: - The Harris fire (The one in Chula Vista near Elba & me) split into two & is heading north (Eastlake/Bonita area) and Southwest (Ocean View Hills, my place). - That fire is totally separate from the one I was talking about where the two idiots started it b/c they were pissed at having school that day - They have the Harris fire under control, but you'd never know which direction the wind shifts to, so yeah. Still uncertain but good for now. - Most of Eastlake/Otay (area of the Harris fire) is currently okay at the moment. I'm currently on voluntary evacuation so I'm just waiting until it becomes mandatory to leave. But yeah, I'm all packed up just in case. Hope everyone else affected by the fires is okay. My thoughts & prayers are with you guys. Stay safe. ![]() |
