About a month ago, I got my tragus pierced, and a keloid [I think] formed now. I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's what it is. Has this happened to anyone else, and if so, how did you take care of it?
I know that I don't have to take out my piercing, I just have to clean it and such, but I'm not sure if there are any other remedies. You clean it with a sea salt solution right? For 15 minutes, 2-3 times a week. Someone told me though that you can crush up tylenol and add a little bit of water to make it into a paste and that will get rid of it too, but I'm hesitant to try it because I don't want to make it worse. Has anyone tried the tylenol+water remedy? |

Yeah, it's a little bump, pretty much. I know Keloids can get really big, that's why I started to freak a little, haha. But I know bumps are normal because my friend had one when she had her nose pierced and a girl in my art class has it on her industrial, but my friend just took out her piercing.
So, wait, you said you were used to this, does that mean they have gone away for you? Because I thought it can cause permanent scarring. Just making sure, haha. I'll try the saliene solution though, I never use it for my contacts anyway. Thanks a lot for your help! |
