I'm ashamed to say that I've never read it or seen the movie. But I'm reading Wicked right now and I'm so in love. It's about the life of the Wicked Witch of the West, her childhood, upbringing and such. Basically, what made her into how she was as an adult. It's an adult book (lol, I wasn't expecting this many sexual references or bad words).
The weird thing is witches were characterized as being skinny, bony, with greenish or grayish skin, a pointy black hat, dark black clothes, and carrying a broom. I forget the word that describes this. Anyway, how's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz? It's a classic but is it enjoyable? |

I love the movie, and I have wanted to read the book for years. I don't know why I never have.
I saw wicked (the stage play) It was GREAT! Poor Judy Garland, she had such a sad life. |
