He's also recommended, but hasn't forced me to read: Ringworld by Larry Niven The Foundation Series by Isaac Asimov aaand a bunch of SciFi movies: Brazil ( 1985 ) Time Bandits ( 1981 ) Blade Runner ( 1982 ) 2001 Space Odyssey ( 1968 ) Planet of the Apes ( 1968 ) THX 1138 ( 1971 ) <-- By George Lucas ![]() etc... You should also read: Ender Wiggin Saga by Orson Scott Card ( Ender's Game, Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide, Children of the Mind -> Ender's Shadow, Shadow of the Hegemon, Shadow Puppets. ) ![]() ![]() ![]() Nemesis by Isaac Asimov Homecoming series by Orson Scott Card and uhmm anything by H.P. Lovecraft even though they're really fantasy stories IMO. ( Call of Cthulu and such ) |
