Sad, eh? I got into fantasy after watching LOTR, which happened only this year (
Are you into fantasy? What sort of fantasy? Magic? Sci-fi? Vampires? |

Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson
Brave New World by Aldous Huxley Broken Angels by Richard K. Morgan so far.. He's also recommended, but hasn't forced me to read: Ringworld by Larry Niven The Foundation Series by Isaac Asimov aaand a bunch of SciFi movies: Brazil ( 1985 ) Time Bandits ( 1981 ) Blade Runner ( 1982 ) 2001 Space Odyssey ( 1968 ) Planet of the Apes ( 1968 ) THX 1138 ( 1971 ) <-- By George Lucas etc... You should also read: Ender Wiggin Saga by Orson Scott Card ( Ender's Game, Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide, Children of the Mind -> Ender's Shadow, Shadow of the Hegemon, Shadow Puppets. ) Nemesis by Isaac Asimov Homecoming series by Orson Scott Card and uhmm anything by H.P. Lovecraft even though they're really fantasy stories IMO. ( Call of Cthulu and such ) |

And Mona, you know what a LOTR dork I am. Have you picked up The Silmarillion yet? :P We still need to plan the LOTR marathon. XD |
