I dunno if you guys have run into this new fresh style of design that's been appearing in websites lately (badges, glossy icons, gradients, large text, rounded corners, etc) but if not, here are some really informative articles on this latest trend:
The Visual Design of Web 2.0 Current Style in Web Design Web 2.0 Design Style Guide Some examples of websites that have had recent web 2.0 makeovers... CNN, Getty Images, Yahoo, Myspace, Facebook, USA Today, etc. What do you guys think about this? Have you been applying any of these guidelines to your design? |

i liked 2.0 back during 0.0 ;x har har. but yah, i think it's definitely more appealing and easier ont he eyes. way more efficient and user-friendly, too. and it's just kickass. of course i'm biased 'cause i'm a fan of the simplicity.
