When can you have sex and have the least chance of getting pregnant?

I read on the internet but I don't understand it at all o.o . They said if ovulation isn't regular then you can get pregnant anytime. Would you be likely to get pregnant if you did it right after your period?

you are less likely to get pregnant if you USE PROTECTION

Condoms, foams, the pill, omg there's so many choices.
why resort to the one that... well... you're unsure of.
you can't fairly be told when the safest time for you to have sex via ovulation, because every woman ovulates at different times in the month.

Mine was regulated by years on the pill.
However, my friend (who is now pregnant) ovulated closer to the start of her period.

use a condom
they're a LOT less expensive than taking a chance of having to squeeze a live person out of your pink bits in 9 months.
