I'm agnostic in my beliefs about god and all that, but my friends seem less than convinced.
my christian friends try to convert me, my athiest friends try to convince me further, and my other agnostic friends are the same way. quite frankly, we're stumped. if you dont know what agnosticism is- basically it says that we would believe in god if there was more proof. we arent denying there is a god, but simply put- there's more evidence basing all of the scientific theroies as opposed to the bible- so we tend to believe in science over god. |

Steven Colbert describes Agnostics as Atheists with no balls, and I have to agree with him. I think many of you are still not understanding what the differences are. An Atheist is someone who knows that there is no God. Does this mean that if it's ever proven there is a God, we'd keep saying "No, I still dont believe it." Maybe some, but not all. I know I'd switch if it were ever proven, but Im still an Atheist.
An Agnostic is someone who cant say for sure if there is a God, but believes we didnt just happen by accident. Maybe it was Aliens, maybe it was God, they don't know yet, but they don't rely too much on Scientific explanation. So grow some balls and stick with your convictions. |
