First of all: I want to apologize because I bet you all really hate questions about PHP from people who know nothing about PHP. I only understand HTML and CSS (which freakin' everyone knows). :C

That said:
I want to re-do my portfolio site. As I get better I want to be able to update and delete my photo's regularly, without having to re-do every single page in the process. It sounds like PHP could be my answer to that problem. Is it?

--> For example: I have 5 images per page. Say I want to upload 3 and there are 3 already on the last page. Would I have to make an entirely new page, or could using PHP make it so I could upload them and it'll automatically make a new page for the remaining 2?

And if I can do that, can it also make a link to the new page on the last page if specified? Or am I just crossing over into extreme laziness then and that's just some sort of magic that doesn't exist? lol

The same thing goes for updates, could I update and the last update go to a specified "Old updates" page, and only the new update shows on the index page?

I'm just trying to see what I can and can't do, it'll be easier to start designing a new layout that way.

Thanks for any help you can give me <3

And sorry again if that doesn't make much sense, just ask me and I'll try to re-word it.

If I'm understanding you correctly, you would just simply need to use the include() function.

Is it alright if you could try to reword it? biggrin.gif
