I believe metal is because of the dynamics involved.

Such bands as Dragon Force, Lamb of God, Mastodon, Arch Enemy and such. Debate.

Yes, this is a debate. Why are such genre's so great? What about them makes them better than others, and why?

Anyone who doesn't feel that Metal is a difficult technical genre to master, needs to play GH2 on Expert... and even that is an understatement.

While i personally HATE metal...i will agree its the best technical genre out there.

Goddamnit, Im so sick of all these people who compare Guitar Hero to actual guitar playing. They are nothing alike, thats like someone who compares DDR to actual dancing, its nothing alike. Put down the video games and actually do something with your life you nerd.

Your lack of substance in this post really doesn't surprise me. I play Guitar, I Play Guitar Hero, I was on a Dance Team for a local tour group, and I play DDR. And yet before you tell me what to do with my life, please note this debate was to discuss the greatest musical Genre, not my lack of judgment.

Well then the very fact that you play guitar and are unable to tell the extreme differences between guitar hero and actually playing guitar means that you suck at playing guitar. Also the fact that you're a guy in a dance group means you're very gay. I've already posted in this forum about what I think is the best musical genre, you went off about gay stuff. As far as my posts lacking substance, I apologize that I didn't delve further into the fact that you're gay and you suck at guitar. Also that you're a nerd who plays video games and dances all day. I'm sure the parents are mighty proud.

Once again your inability to actually respond to something relevant is overwhelming. I find it humorous as to where you can attack my character, and yet you feel the best genre of music is Jazz. There is nothing more to say, as I frankly don't care whether or not I can play a guitar. I have nothing to prove to you, nor to anyone else on these forums. I participated in the discussion, since this is the debate sub-forums, and instead of discussing the matter in a mature manner, you turn it into a personal matter. Next time if you want your post to hold more caliber I suggest you grow up a little, and stop attacking people just because they might disagree with your thorough 3 paragraph post as to why Jazz music is technically better.

And you're constant replying is adding fuel to the fire. What I originally said was that I hated when people compare guitar hero to actually playing guitar. This was directed towards every person who does this, yourself included. Guitar Hero is a retarded video game trying to cash in on the DDR phenomenon and so far all you Cows have done exactly what they wanted you to do. What do you learn by pressing buttons off a never ending conveyor belt? Nothing. It'd be one thing if it was actually teaching you how to play guitar, but it's not.
The fact that you believe anyone who disagrees with you to be of a lesser "caliber" shows how truly ignorant you are. And if you felt no need in proving yourself to me and the forum community, why keep replying? If what I have to say does not matter, why continue? Because you are a hypocrite and you fall under the personality type of so many teens with too much useless information. You believe you are smarter than everyone else. The ignorance of the old does not imply the intelligence of the young. Maybe you should learn that. Besides, as Socrates says, the only truly wise person is the one who admits he doesn't know anything. Also you're a nerd.

Jazz music is simple, true. If you want complexity, go with rock. The faster, the better. It all depends on personal preference, there is no genre of music that is uniformally agreed upon to be the greatest, and preference does not require an explanation. I like Jazz because it is relaxing to me and keeps me in a mellow, but good mood. Another person would listen to the same music and find it boring. Preference cannot be explained, so any debate is really pointless, but I guess we must continue...
