Ok, I've been responsible for the release of new skins lately, and more than once has the question of whether to post this skin or not comes up. Although there are skins that come up that don't meet my standards, I know there are always people that I know will appreciate it and so I put it up anyway.
I guess what I'm getting at is, can we have some sort of way to label recommended skins? Ones that obviously required more effort than just simple, copied css? OR have different categories for the skins? Like one with images/photos, anime, simple color schemes. OR I could just not put up these simple skins at all. ![]() And oh.. do I just DELETE the queued skin topics that I don't approve of? Do we PM the person that their skin wasn't accepted? Gah, I know Ju Sun you're working on getting guidelines up for this, but I want to hear the input of other mods too.. |

You're the expert, here
![]() We COULD use a voting system, but blogring does that already, and people vote over and over again on their own layout to increase the rating. I think labeling it as recommended is a good idea (labeled by you or micron only of course). Doesn't sound like it would hurt at all. |
