so ive been single my whole life and its not really working out for me i guess.
im happy and all, but. im getting to think that im desperate, and that if anyone asks me out ill say yes. ive been asked out by 2 people my whole life and both were pot heads who were arrested last year.  im worried about getting way too desperate and getting myself hurt. what do i do? |

Ok, well i actually have something different to say in stead of everyone else. "You're only 15".
I know the feeling, wanting to be loved, wanted, cared for. But the truth is, hun, is that if you get too desperate then boys will ask you out but not for the right reasons and then you'd end up getting hurt. And it doesn't really matter if your 15, there's people out there that are 50 and they probably have never went on a date before. It's absolutley normal to want a boyfriend, doesn't everyone want to be cared for? Don't sweat it, the right boy will come soon =] |

I'm in agreement with pretty much everything said here. I'm 16 and have had 2 serious relationships. The first of which...not so great. Kinda felt like I didn't know enough about anything to really understand what I was trying to commit to. Thats not always the case, but really...at 15 you should be discovering your passions, enjoying life, talking to boys and sure even dating them if a decent one comes along, building up life skills that you'll need a lot sooner than you think. Just...being a kid. Don't rush into the dating stuff, it can be an amazing thing, but at this point just enjoy the freedom that you get as a young teenager and don't stress over the trivial stuff. And keep reminding yourself that there are lots of boys out there...one day the right one (for that time in your life) will come along. Until then, just wait it out and don't bother with it so much.
