Have yall ever been in an unhealthy relationship? But you felt so in love/lust with the guy and you did what you could just to give him your all?

Have you ever been in a relationship, where he abused you physically and mentally..?

Have you ever loved someone so much, no matter what they did to you, you still stayed with them hoping they'd change and they'd actually treat you better?

Have you ever been in a relationship where you knew it was wrong to stay but your heart took place of your brain?

I've been in one...and i've seen so many topics on here about relationships like "should i stay" "are we in a relationship" "does he love me" ect..

I've been in those kind of relationships bundled all up in one, I'm not going into details but in the long run i left him. It felt like a 700 pound man was lifted up off my shoulders. My ex made me insecure but i got over it, he made me depressed, but i got over that. He broke my heart, but it healed. He made me feel that i can never love someone again..but it wasn't love, and i have room to love someone again but at the same time being smart about it.

my advice to all you girls who post topics here about your relationships if you think your life is over because of what some guy did to you...it probably will be. It's mind over matter, if you think your life sucks, it probably does. But you can change all that by thinking positive in your life.

I know it's mad hard yo, but if you feel your life is over because of a guy...realistically it's not lol, it may feel like that for a few days/weeks..then you get bored, you still think of them and you get sad, but the world doesn't stop just for you it keeps going. You can't put your life on hold to cry for nothing, if someones gone or somethings gone let it be gone.

After being in a relationship don't get in another one for a while..like they told my mom when her sister died wait a year until making any important decisions..

If yall need advice i'm here, i'm mad nice.

i was too.
at the end of the relationship, i mainly stayed with him because of the convenience factor.
without him, i had no place to live, no way to get to work, nothing. i was basically completely dependent on him, and that's the way he wanted it.

a friend of mine, who ... showed up out of the woodwork, out of nowhere convinced me to leave.

the only way i knew how... was to check myself into the psych ward at the local hospital.. and it wasn't until THEN that i learned and realized what kind of unhealthy situation i was living in.

i ruined a lot of things by staying with him, and then leaving the way i did, (like my stepmother's credit and finances) but i honestly believe i saved my life.

in the end, you have to think about YOU.
