I believe metal is because of the dynamics involved.
Such bands as Dragon Force, Lamb of God, Mastodon, Arch Enemy and such. Debate. Yes, this is a debate. Why are such genre's so great? What about them makes them better than others, and why? |

metal may not be my preferred choice in music, but you HAVE to have talent to be a metal artist.
seriously. the guitar licks, and drum kicks... there's no sampling a beat, there's no laying down a track to a prerecorded beat on a keyboard or a computer. it is pure, raw, fingers bleeding, carpel tunnel syndrome in the wrists and ankles (drummer). especially speed metal (like dragon force). you don't have to LIKE the music to admit that you gotta have talent to do it. |
