I believe metal is because of the dynamics involved.
Such bands as Dragon Force, Lamb of God, Mastodon, Arch Enemy and such. Debate. Yes, this is a debate. Why are such genre's so great? What about them makes them better than others, and why? |

i'd definitely have to say classical. because classical music spawned jazz, blues, metal, soul, alternative, and many others.
