I believe metal is because of the dynamics involved.
Such bands as Dragon Force, Lamb of God, Mastodon, Arch Enemy and such. Debate. Yes, this is a debate. Why are such genre's so great? What about them makes them better than others, and why? |

We're debating who has the best technique, and dynamics. Despite your bad taste in music, come up with something that stands out in a song or something. For instance: Cursed the Blackened Sun by Lamb of God. I love that song. Generally. The drum pattern in the chorus is absolutely amazing. Just listening to it doesn't even make sense. He's constantly hitting the crash cymbal but it sounds like the drummer is hits it last in the series. Download it or play it on YouTube. It's incredible, whether you like the music or not. It should be respected. |
