I believe metal is because of the dynamics involved.
Such bands as Dragon Force, Lamb of God, Mastodon, Arch Enemy and such. Debate. Yes, this is a debate. Why are such genre's so great? What about them makes them better than others, and why? |

Oh man Dragonforce. Love them. Herman Li is a god despite what people say.
I'd have to go with rock as a genre. Of course, rock is very broad. When I say rock, I mean rock (metal included). None of that pussy soft rock stuff. No I do not like John Mayer's albums. Yes he's a very good guitarist but you'd have to see videos or him live to know that as he exhibits none of that in the music I've heard of him. Of course many great guitarists/pianists are classically trained, which could lead to that being declared as the best genre as it's influenced everything we have today... |
