Damn You Time Machine

Do you remember the days when delight was playing baseball in the fields, or swimming for hours on end? Do you remember when stress was your first crush, or losing in a game of four-squares? Through the eyes of a child, we see life prepared to perfection. Nothing ever can bog you down. The consummate weather, the devoted sunshine. What can we say, those were "the good ole days". Even the dreaded rainy day can be turned into a beguilement of such. We engage ourselves to run outside, finding our deep-rooted contentment, finally returning home soaked with cheerful water. Oh we know that we'll soon ensnare a virus of some sort, but we're happy. But now, as "sivilized" human beings, we cannot enjoy those childhood romances. Oh how can I return to those days? Only if I had that damn time machine. I tried to patent ... well that's besides the point. Only if I could revisit those days.
