My Inspiration, new song, feedback? Options

So I recently formed a band with two of my friends and we've just been doing covers. I think its time to write our own songs and start creating the music. So here's something I wrote a good half hour ago. It would be great if I got some feedback, alright here goes. Enjoy, guys!

My Inspiration by Disconfession

Verse 1:
Its just something about the way you shine,
That has me going crazy every time,
I see you across the hall while headed to class,
Then those butterflies take over and I bust my ass.
Every day, its getting harder and harder to pay attention.
Instead of writing notes, I write your name with my pen.

Chorus:
My dear, you are my inspiration.
You get me up when I am down,
Make me smile without making a sound.
You don't even know the things you make me do.
Or the fact that your laughter makes me feel brand new.
You may not feel the same, and baby that's okay.
Even still, I will love you anyway.

Verse 2:
What is love? Ill never know but I think I'm coming close,
Cause seeing you in school is what I look forward to most.
The greatest singer, writer, dancer, I am niether one.
But would you still love me the same if you knew, you are my inspiration?
