I know I sound lame, but does he like me? Options

Ok well I have had a HUGE crush on a guy named Bryan since the day I seen him in my music class. Hes a senior and im a freshman. Hes really good friends with one of my best friends (whos also a freshman) so I know hes not mean or anything because she never says anything really bad about him. He doesent even act like a senior though, he always jokes around and does silly things with his clothes and hair and stuff.

Well, everyday I would smile at Bryan and he would smile back, this went on for about a week. We started talking more and more so I asked my friend for his number. Se gave it to me. So we texted eachother for awhile, we joked around and stuff but then he had to go to band practice. He said I could leave him random messages while he was there if I wanted but he said he wasnt sure he would be able to get back to me though tonight, so he said we will see me tomorrow if he wouldent be able to reply.

Well,I sent him some messages while he was at band practice and he replied to all of them, even if their was long breaks between them because he wasnt suppost to be on the phone, he was suppost to be marching and playing his instronment. Then at like 10:30pm I sent him a message saying if he was tired he didnt have to text me back and that I would see him tomorrow. He sent a reply back around 11pm saying in these exact words: Totally sorry if I woke ya, just got the text but yea, ill talk to ya tomorra. Sweet dreams!

Also, today we had to take a test in our music class and he kept looking at me when we were both done with the test, we would smile at eachother then we would look away after awhile. When we turned in our test he smiled at me so I told him that I only got three wrong and I was like so happy because thats the best I ever did on a test in that class. He smiled and he said he got zero wrong, so jokingly I said its only because your in band and he laughed. Also, yesterday he told marie that he was texting me and showed her the messages so it sounds like he likes talking to me if hes willing to show them off?

Im still not entirely sure if he likes me though because of the age difference and its starting to worry me because my frind thinks I have no chance with him but I think shes just jelous, so if you guys could tell me if it sounds like he likes me. As for the sweet dreams part alot of guys dont usually say that so it made me think he was intrested. So if you guys could tell me whether you think he likes me or not, it would be much appreciated =D Sorry that was so long..

why dont you just come straight forward and ask him instead of wondering about it. But be aware, guys are just like girls, they are also unpredictable. In a similar way, i was in this kind of situation just recently. I like this friend of mine and well he acted like he likes me, just like your friend acted toward you. However, when i confront to him, i quote this directly, he said: "you never had a chance, not because of who you are, but because someone already occupies my heart". Words break my heart, but at least now i dont have to wonder how he feels about me. Maybe you should ask Bryan yourself, and if you are scare that he might treat you different, and if he does, then he's not such a great friend now is he? Joe (the guy i like) still treat me like nothing ever happened.
