i have a birthmark on my belly. where it is, it sits right above my pant line and below my shirt line.
so if i raise my arms, you see it. if i wear a mid-drift shirt, you see it. it's also in quite a non-nice place for the growing belly during pregnancy. it's not huge, but it's most certainly not small. the most noticeable thing about it is that it is about 20 shades darker than my skin tone. i used to joke and say that all my native skin colour went to THAT one spot, rather than my entire body. that's why there's a huge colour different. i'd post a pic, but i don't think everybody wants to see my preggo belly and birthmark, but if you want to see it, PM me and I can send you a link. i used to be embarrassed by it... but... now i just don't care anymore. having esteem while sporting a birthmark isn't that bad. at least you're not like... 300 pounds wearing a tubetop (made for a really skinny chick) that says "babygirl" or "cutie" or "princess" on it. |
