So I'm from Reno, NV and Thursday ICE came and invaded all of the McDonald's here and deported like all these people back to Mexico. And it made me really mad because you know I'm white and i was born in California and all these people were posting all these comments up on the news channel website saying stuff like "finally! they get all these Mexicans out of our country and [blah blah blah]" and it makes us all look bad. This country was founded by people coming from other countries. that's what the USA is. I understand it's better to do it the legal way but why deport them? They aren't hurting anyone. They aren't blowing up schools or attacking our government buildings. they're just trying to work and feed their families.
it's just so frustrating to me. WHY CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG? It's just sad...you know? |

Where I live they just deported about 300 illegal immigrants from 1 factory during 1 shift.
When my dad was alive he got laid off there, and they just hired a bunch of illegal immigrants because they took less pay. It happens and it's sad but it's more the fault of the business owners than it is the fault of the Mexicans because the business owners are hiring them. The thing that bothers me the most is most of the Mexicans where I live only speak enough English to buy and sell drugs, or to hit on fat girls. I learned some Spanish, can't they learn a little English too? |
