I've searched this topic and I've found nothing on it. I think I would prefer pain-killers because of how much it's supposed to hurt but I also am a chicken when it comes to needles (epiderals would scare the crap out of me lol) so I was thinking about the natural birth? My mother had a natural birth and she said it was painfull at first but it eventually goes numb. What is your opinions?
I've also heard of natural births in a tub with water which sounded a little strange to me. |

Call me crazy but I think going through the pain is an IMPORTANT part of child-bearing and God wouldn't want us to take that out. It's not supposed to be painless, free or easy to create life...It's one of God's special gifts he gave to us. The pain you have to endure is part of the reason why you appreciate what God has created so much, and gives the basic foundations for a mother. Sex is the PLEASURE, birth is the PAIN. That's just what I believe, so no pain killers for me! If God wanted us going through the pain, then why would he give us medicine? |
