My 14 year old friend, who is a girl is in love with a 30 year old man. They talk a lot. And seem to like each other. She says he is really nice a sweet, She has known him for a long time now, and she said he asked her out but she says he doesn't talk about sex with her or anything.. but i don't want him to hurt her or for something to go wrong and her to get in trouble. What should i do?

NO. just no. Meeting in person or online, it doesn't matter. That's just not safe. I don't care if she says he's a nice guy or that he cares about her and just wants her to be happy. That's bs. Anyone can say that. That's just a way to get approval from her friends and gain her trust. He can put on that nice guy act. And eventually, he'll take advantage of her trust. There's a chance that she's going to get hurt. You know, predators aren't dumb these days. They can be very deceiving and sneaky. A 14 year old should go out with a 14 year old, not their dad.
//edit Okay. Maybe I have been a little too harsh because I've been watching too much of E Hollywood story. But also, my friend has gotten raped twice by older men. Supposedly, she fell in love with a man that's 10 years older than her. And he took advantage of her. She was really scarred after it happened. Don't let your friend have the same ending. |
