Stupid People!! UGH!, $%#$!! Options

Ok....this guy liked me right and it turned that I liked him too. Just one thing we don't know each other well. So best friend 1[BF1] gave me his number randomly. BF1 told me that he liked me. He is the nice BF here. Just to point that out. Then as I explained this is my crush's number to my friend, she called him and it was sooo embarrassing. Then the second time I had to call this kid from work so I can work for him. I thought that number on the "dialed" was this kid's number from work...but it turned out to be his. Then I hung up...called again trying to explain but he didn't answer. Today on the bus his second best friend[BF2] told me I call him a lot. FYI I didn't mean to call him! Then BF2 goes asks for my phone then I say ok just don't do something stupid.... well he is an ass so he called him 3 times on my phone in a row. WTF! I was so pissed and wanted him to tell him that he called him. But he told me he wouldn't.

Ugh... I don't know what to do. I want to get to know him...really but if I try to talk to him it seems that I'm desperate to talk to him. I can't see his face tomorrow without feeling stupid. I don't want to loose him with these fake calls.
What to do? I have no clue...I never had to face this in my life.

Write a note if talking to him right now is embarassing you, I know how you feel (well sorta) and tell him what happened, im sure he will understand. After you clear everything up ask him to call you so you guys can talk or something.
