I saw the movie, its pretty obvious, If you have a good outlook on life you will be successful. But for some it is hard to do because of their past experiences and other factors that aren't considered.

Well Oprah went from being abused as a child to one of the worst renowned and richest women in the world, so in the end, its all about how bad you want it. And its a little scientifically deeper than just positive outlooks lol.

Anyway, I watched The Secret quite a while ago...and halfway through it I just couldn't watch anymore cause that's how ridiculous I thought it was. It was a trippy movie and of course, it made sense to me. Eh, The Secret just has a loooot of contradictions to the Christian view. The heart is supposed to be "deceitful" and full of sin and it makes sense to follow your own path and to go with your feelings...but then, doesn't sin feel good? Hahaha why would we sin if it didn't...

And @ the quote where someone said that God had no purpose in our life.

But the part where optimism plays in is still a good role for us in life. Like the part where it says that you will have a good outlook on life if you think of it that way. Well duh, of course that is pretty obvious.
/HATER RANT ON THE SECRET

PFSH someone didnt really attention. The movie even talks about God, and how it shares itself with the so called miracles. God, Miracles, Prayers, Wishes, the Universe, the Genie and 3 wishes, they all intertwine some way or another. Let me repeat myself, its NOT saying that if you have a positive outlook, you are promised a good life. Listen to the stories, most people would say they are "lucky" but are they really?

Obviously its deeper than positive outlooks -_-, but the point is if you are smart and have the motivation to be successful it will happen. But thats not necessarily true, there are people with numerous disadvantages. How do you expect some one living in the ghetto to make it in life?? Sure it happens, 1 in a million `effin chance. Even if they get a good education its still unlikely.
