I already went to hottopic and the clothes there kinda don't last after a month. So right now I'm only getting accessories from their and i'm getting my clothes from sexpot. Anyone know any other punk place?

It really seems like the youth today doesn't care about anything.
If you look back in time you see so many instances in which the youth changed things, or revolted against things. It seems that everyone is so comfortable with life, and sure it is good, but it could always better. Why don't people believe in things anymore? Why do people complain about things on their blogs and not do anything about it? If something is happening you don't like, organize a protest! Sure, you might get arrested, but if you really believe in things that's a risk you can take! If something is happening in your school that you don't agree with, get other students that don't agree and walk out! If you have to wear uniforms or have a dress code that limits you artistically find other kids that agree and DON'T FOLLOW THE RULES. It's so hard to describe but I feel that we are just letting our rights be run into the ground, and I don't know if it's laziness or fear of getting in trouble, or just a lack of caring that is stopping people from saying anything. I know it seems kind of off topic, but that's what punk used to be! Now it's just a trend? Why are clothes and how many friends you have on myspace more important than Gay marriage, abortion, the war, the election coming up, or even small things in your community that you don't like? |
