UR BEST GUYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND like likes YOU, what would you do? Options

i made this topic because, my best guyfriend likes me.
I've known that for awhile now, but he doesnt know that.
And sometimes i feel so awkward and weird around him, like i don't
what to do or talk about.
We haven't been talking for awhile, we've been kinda distant.
And I'm not so sure why, maybe its me?
Because he says I've changed, like i wouldnt go up to him and say "hi"
whenever i see him.
But maybe it's just my feelings around him that holds me back.
He's a real nice friend, very honest,smart,reliable,funny,a gentlemen, and one of my friends that sometimes truly understand me.
What should I do?

thats a dumb no no, its actually the oppisite way around, dont pass this up, hint for him to ask u out, if u do have a good relationship wit the guy as a friend odds r if u go out wit him u two will last a lot longer than some random guy u think is cute and u've known for a week. i asked my girl friend friend out after being jus friends for about a year and it didnt distroy our friendship it only made it better and cus she was my best girlfriend before we have more things to relate bout and have little things that we do jus between us two. and ive been wit her longer than any other random girl that i liked jus cus we were good friends before we went out. before ive had only relationships that lasted about a 1week(least) - 1month(most) and now we've been happy for almost half a year

since you do know ur guyfren more than other guys, why not go for him right?
but still..i dunno...very risk-takin...cuz if ya both end up breakin up,
will you still want to be friends?....
