Do you completely lose yourself?
Almost like an orgasm? (haha, JK, bad analogy) But, seriously - when I read, I'm actually very well trained to really get into the book and completely leave this world. Steven gets annoyed by this b/c I ignore him during my intense reading periods, and respond to questions usually 30 minutes later. It's also great to read during school b/c it makes me look studious AND I'm really not even "in school"! I read a LOT, so it's very easy for me to get into that stage of reading where you feel like you're in the book. I'm pretty sure that people who do not enjoy reading rarely reach this level of reading-highness. |

A few months ago I was reading Obernewtyn by Isobelle Carmody. It was at the end and there was so much suspense on whether the main character was going to survive or not..
During the time I was reading the last few chapters I was sweating like mad, had a missed call, and realised it was getting dark and there were no lights on. I cried at the end too. So I get pretty lost in books. But only if it's really interesting lol |
