Just because things are moving slowly doesn't mean that it's dead. If it were dead, would you be posting? If it were dead, would new people be signing up every day? I think not. Either way, you going around saying it's dead does not liven things up in the least. If anything, it has a negative impact on the site with people seeing it and thinking "why do I wanna come here, it's dead?"

Either way, you do no service to the site by going around saying it's dead all the time. Instead of doing that, read a book, do a report, get a buck. Or think of something to liven things up or spark conversation.

From where I came from, whole days without any posts could happen occasionally.

Once, three days even past with almost no activity at all.

Anywho, the whole Top 20 thing is pretty depressing, but school's just started, it happens.
