In my AP Drawing class (the best in Texas, actually), I have been working on an art project designed by the famous Chuck Close where you draw realistic portraits using only red, blue, and yellow Prismacolor pencils! I thought it sounded incredibly difficult, but it's actually quite fun, and I love the effect it has.
![]() After maybe 3 days of work? Yay, you can see my colored pencils that are about 2/3 the length that appears in the picture. ![]() What I have finished by today. The shots are very grainy D: (they look much more smooth in real life, I promise. :P) They are due next Thursday, but I'm a fast worker. :] Oh, and here's the original image, if you wanted to see it ![]() |

AHHHH, do I have to do that for AP art too ![]() No way? Good luck! haha Advice: black can be done by using red/blue over and over again and finalizing with a layer of yellow. You don't need to keep doing R-B-Y-R-B-Y for black. ^_^" Btw, I'm finished with the project... working on a made-up background now. I'll post it when I'm completely done. |
