The ending seriously depressed me. I don't know what I expected, obviously she'd go with the vampire, but having Jake so hurt at the end of the book really made me sad.
Why couldn't she (the author) have found someone for him years later or something?! I was expecting him to maybe bump into someone pretty and the end chapter was her smiling at him or something. " Ugh. *read other posts* OMG THERES ANOTHER BOOK?! TWO MORE! Thank you Jesus. I was so pissed off at that ending. As for the whole Jacob forcing himself on her thing, and the "killing himself" thing, yeah, I raised my eyebrow. I couldn't, one, believe that she fell for it, and two, that everyone except for Edward and Bella was like, "Oh, whatever. It's just a kiss." I couldn't believe he did that either. And badly. But it certainly didn't make me hate him. I mean, Bella even agreed that they were soul mates. If it wasn't for Edward none of that would have happened. |
