i was wondering about what kinds of problems would happen after losing your virginity-
for example, i know about the hymen breaking (cherry popping) and sometimes the excessive bleeding but are there any other side effects, such as decreased health, really bad pain that makes it hard to walk, or maybe even the doctor finding out about your broken hymen in a checkup and then he/she tells your parents? |

Most likely, the hymen breaks when the girl was younger because it is a very thin membrane and can easily have broken from exercise and activity. If her hymen is still intact, since it's tisse, it usually will develop along with the girl and become thicker. This shouldn't be that big a problem but it can become so thick that upon penetration, the girl will experience severe pain and excessive bleeding that could require medical help. There shouldn't be too many side effects. Yes, you probably will be sore from sex but it wouldn't stop you from walking properly unless it was really rough/intense. If you got an STD/STI then yes your health will decrease. Since your hymen can be broken in other ways besides from sexual intercourse, the doctor wouldn't know for sure you had sex unless he gives you a gyno exam within the few days after intercourse. Also, to check, he has to give you a pelvic exam. There's patient confidentiality. If you're over 18, the doctor can't say anything you forbid him to. If you're under 18, you can still have a talk with him. |
