Hey, I was wondering how I could get the blonde parts in my hair without overdoing it.
![]() It's for Halloween, but I want to get it done earlier because I don't want to damage my hair all at once. I want my hair to look like that girl's, if not, less would be okay too. But I don't want to end up with too much blonde because I'm Asian and I personally do not think that Asians look good blonde. Thanks :] |

ah! karmakiller brings up a good point with the baliage technique... it's a little more advanced than the usual foils though and requires a second person to help you... there's a little hair cap thing that you pull little strands of hair through to separate the highlights from the natural hair color...
you can get the bleach kit at hot topic for about the same maybe a little less than professional stuff, but "box" bleach/color is harsher on your hair... you don't want to damage your hair any more than you have to and bleach is pretty deadly... "box" bleach is also more likely to burn your scalp, so if you have a sensitive scalp at all, pay the couple extra bucks to get the good stuff... another perk is that prof. bleach comes in packages that are more than once time use and it keeps forever as long as it's properly sealed and stored, so that's another thing to think about when your roots start coming around... i'd go with karmakiller's suggestion and go to your local b&n or library or look online and get some tips and techniques... research is the key to excellent results! |
